Acceptable Use and Illegal Content Policy

Freedom of expression

Monkey Upload supports freedom of expression and does not remove files merely because they are controversial, unpopular, offensive, or objectionable.

Content will normally be restricted only when we reasonably believe it violates applicable law, the rights of others, or the specific safety rules below.

What you may not upload

You may not upload, store, or share:

Child sexual abuse material or sexual exploitation content.

Terrorist content or unlawful incitement to violence.

Illegal threats, harassment, discrimination, or hate speech.

Copyright-infringing or otherwise unlawful material.

Fraudulent, stolen, defamatory, or privacy-violating content.

Malware, phishing material, ransomware, or files intended to damage systems.

Content connected to criminal activity or prohibited by a binding legal order.

Reporting illegal content

We take all notices seriously. Reports must identify the relevant file or link, explain why the content is believed to be illegal, identify the applicable legal basis where possible, and include the reporter's contact details and a good-faith declaration.

How we respond

We will review each notice fairly and may restrict or remove content, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or notify the competent authorities when legally required.

Where appropriate, we will inform the affected user and provide a reason for our decision.

Challenging a decision

Users may challenge a removal or restriction by submitting a complaint to abuse@monkeyupload.com. We will review complaints impartially and restore content when a restriction was incorrect or is no longer justified.

Limits of our review

Monkey Upload does not determine complex legal disputes where illegality is unclear. In such cases, we may request additional evidence or a valid court or authority order.
