The data controller is Siteways Group BV, a private limited company registered in the Netherlands and the operator of Monkey Upload.

What we collect

Account data such as your email, display name and workspace membership.

File metadata such as names, sizes, types, checksums and folder structure, for both managed and connected storage.

Operational logs including uploads, shares, permission changes and API activity.

Provider credentials

Access keys and OAuth tokens for connected providers are stored server-side and are never returned to the browser or to AI models.

You can disconnect a provider at any time, which revokes stored credentials and removes its indexed entries.

AI processing

AI features process only the files you explicitly ask about, under your existing permissions, and results are not used to train third-party models.

Your rights

You can export your metadata, delete individual files, or delete an entire workspace. Deletion removes managed objects and indexed records.

Under the GDPR you can also request access, correction, restriction or portability of your personal data. Write to privacy@monkeyupload.com and we respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
